Writing A Business Plan

Entrepreneurs do not have business plans to succeed, Pierre Omidyar created eBay is a good example. But a business plan is a simple and useful to collect the thoughts, prioritize actions, and planning for business success.

The objective of the business plans is to put the company for success, not to become an entrepreneur chair meditating all the details of business plans.

In fact, the business plan is more like a diary and a list of what you should do a college essay. As mentioned above, there are no absolute rules, or summary, pro forma, and sales forecasts, if these things are proven to be beneficial. However, there is a basic structure to follow to write a good business plan.

Prime Vision

This section answers some questions that should be clearly indicated. What work is it? What activities does not solve the problem? Why is the company's solution provides the best or most unique to your customers?

2. Branding

Following the vision statement, which is the labeling step. What is the history of the pieces and a marketing message? What is the personality of the product, the soul and the voice? How can it be translated into an identity, logo, website, business cards, and so on?

3. Financial Statements

What is the cost to build the product and service delivery? What are the charges? Are there hidden costs at all? And finally, what benefit can we expect?

4th Test

What are the existing resources could maken used to create new products or services? Is there anyone that can try the product or service and how feedback can be collected and used?

5. Sales and Marketing

How can the company get its first customers? How will customer service? And marketing channels that can be explored?

If the answer to the above aspects are not sure, some market participants, the studies must be done, or should contact SCORE for advice. This basic structure can be mixed, restructured and modified to suit different needs. But there are some basic points that must be kept in mind.

First, develop a business plan is not only writing but palnning to start a real success. As a business plan is written for its own sake, there is no absolute rules to write one!

Second, a business plan is a process that should not ocntinueing until the company is sold, quit, or failed miserably. We must change course in order to adapt to the changing environment. Frequent review and regular updates can be useful for all levels of the day is completely unnecessary.

And last but not least, we must remember that a business plan is there to help, but not the way forward with the company.
